In order to apply for your chosen course you must complete this form, you will then receive an email with a link to complete our short induction video which will guide you through the next steps in gaining your qualification.


You can only complete one funded course at a time.


Please note: to be eligible for funding you must tick to confirm you meet the following criteria;
  • I am committed to completing the course, and I understand I may be liable for the £100 resource and registration fee if I do not.
  • I was aged 19 or over on 31st August 2019
  • I have lived in the European Union for the last 3 years
  • I am not currently enrolled with The Skills Network or another education provider (including apprenticeship courses)
  • If I am aged 19-23 on 31st August 2019 and am applying for a Level 2 course, I understand I already need to have gained a full level 2 qualification (e.g. 5 or more GCSE/O Levels at grades A* - C / 4 - 9, 1 A Level, 2/3 AS Levels, 5 or more CSE grade 1’s, GNVQ Intermediate, QCF Diploma Level 2)
  • I currently live in England or Scotland
  • I have not studied the course I am applying for before

Proof of residency status covering the last 3 years is required. Providing proof of your residency status is a mandatory requirement in order to access funding. If this is not provided you will be deemed ineligible for funding and not permitted to access your chosen course.

If you have answered yes, we may contact you to obtain some additional information.
If you are in full time education or receiving funding for another course, it is unlikely that additional funding for this programme will be available. Examples of full time education include: Apprenticeship, BTEC national diploma, Access ot HE. Examples of other funded courses include: Part-time courses where you are receiving funding through a college or training provider.

PLEASE NOTE: Providing an emergency contact is an essential requirement for obtaining funding. This will not be shared or used in any way other than in an emergency. For distance learning learners this is highly unlikely but remains a requirement of the funding body.

If this is not provided you will be deemed ineligible for funding and not permitted to access your chosen course. Examples of acceptable evidence are: Driving Licence, Passport, Birth Certificate.
